Meet the Zeeland Team

Dr. Ryan Toth – Dentist

Dr. Ryan Toth was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, graduating in just three years. He then moved to Boston, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Boston University.

After dental school, Dr. Toth returned to Michigan and began his career practicing in Walled Lake. He later joined a private dental office in Lansing, where he worked for several years before ultimately establishing his own practice in Zeeland. At his office, Dr. Toth is proud to provide personalized, high-quality dental care, ensuring each patient receives the attention they deserve.

Dentistry runs in Dr. Toth’s family—his father is also a practicing dentist in Detroit and has been one of his greatest inspirations. Dr. Toth has two older siblings: a sister, Dione, who has two children (Mila and Nolan), and a brother, Eric. Much of his extended family still lives near Detroit, keeping him closely connected to his roots.

In September 2013, Dr. Toth married Dr. Andrea Salazar, a fellow dentist who practices in Grand Rapids. Together, they live in Byron Center with their four daughters and their beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Finn.

Outside the office, Dr. Toth enjoys a variety of hobbies including gardening, golfing, fishing, reading, and watching movies. He also enjoys bowling and is currently on the lookout for a local league to join.

Dr. Austin Schild – Dentist

A Grand Haven native, Dr. Austin Schild is proud to serve the community he calls home. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Human Biology and Kinesiology from Michigan State University before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University.

Dr. Schild’s own positive experiences as a dental patient inspired his passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He is committed to helping each individual feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental journey.

Outside the office, Dr. Schild enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending quality time with his fiancée, Monica, and their Goldendoodle, Sonny.

STEPHANIE – OFFICE COORDINATOR

Stephanie brings over 20 years of experience to the dental field, with a strong foundation in both clinical care and patient support. She completed her dental assisting training at UEI in California, where she earned her Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) designation.

Known for her friendly demeanor and dedication to patient comfort, Stephanie loves building lasting relationships with those she serves.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their two sons, Henry and Liam. Her favorite pastimes include antiquing, kayaking, camping, and relaxing at the beach with her family.

Lisa – Registered Dental Hygienist

Lisa has been a dedicated dental hygienist since 2000 and has been a valued member of our team for over 14 years. Born and raised in the Zeeland area, she takes great pride in caring for the community she calls home.

With a warm and compassionate approach, Lisa is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. Her experience and gentle touch make her a favorite among patients of all ages.

Outside of the office, Lisa stays active by running and going to the gym. She is also a proud mother of seven and enjoys spending time with her busy and vibrant family.

TARA – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Tara graduated with honors from Grand Rapids Community College in 1995. She is passionate about empowering patients through education, helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Watching her patients’ progress and improvements is one of her greatest rewards.

Raised in Saugatuck, Tara is a proud mother of three sons. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and giving back to her community through volunteer work.

LANA – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Lana has been a dedicated dental hygienist since 2013. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, three children, and two beloved pets. Her favorite activities include camping, working out, and decorating her home.

Since moving to West Michigan in 2021, Lana has embraced all the area has to offer and feels right at home in the community.

EMILIE – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Emilie grew up in Jenison, Michigan, and is a proud graduate of Jenison Senior High School. She pursued her passion for dental care at Ferris State University, where she earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Science and an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene.

Emilie currently lives in Hudsonville with her two cats. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and collecting houseplants, bringing a touch of nature into her home and daily life.

MAEVE – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Maeve is a graduate of Ferris State University, where she earned degrees in Allied Health Sciences, Spanish, and Gerontology.

Outside the office, Maeve loves exploring new restaurants, traveling to new destinations, and spending quality time with her husband.

Tammi – Front Desk

Tammi was born and raised in Zeeland and is a proud graduate of Zeeland East High School. She received her dental assisting training at Ottawa County Tech Center and enjoys using her skills in both dental assisting and front desk reception to support patients and the team.

Since marrying her husband Tyler in 2019, Tammi has cherished spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys gardening, fishing, walking her dog Archie, and helping her husband with farming.

SADIE – Front Desk

Sadie was born and raised in Holland, Michigan, and earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Western Michigan University.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, boating, and spending quality moments with her cat, Louie.

MAUREEN – Front Desk

Maureen graduated in 2022 with a degree in Medical Billing and Coding. Outside of work, she stays active through regular workouts and values quality time with her husband, Jack, their seven children, and seven grandchildren.

ABBY – Front Desk

Abby was born and raised in Northwest Indiana and completed her dental assisting training at St. John Dental Assistant School. She has been working in the dental field since 2020, bringing dedication and care to every patient she meets.

In her free time, Abby enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends.

MORGAN – Front Desk

Morgan was born and raised in Holland and is a proud graduate of Holland Christian High School. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients and building meaningful relationships with them.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys gardening, tackling house renovations, and camping. She is married and shares her home with her beloved dog, Ruger.

KRISTEN – Front Desk

Kristen was born and raised in Zeeland and earned her degree in Sports Management from Cornerstone University. She is married and shares her home with two beloved dogs.

Kristen enjoys attending sporting events and cherishes spending quality time with her family.

EZEKIEL– Dental Assistant

Ezekiel, who goes by Zeke, joined our team as a dental assistant shortly after graduating from Ross in early 2019. Born and raised in Holland, he is a 2017 graduate of West Ottawa High School.

Outside of work, Zeke enjoys spending time with his wife, going for runs, and practicing boxing.

BRIANNA– Dental Assistant

Brianna graduated from Ross Medical and has been a dedicated dental assistant since 2021. She married her high school sweetheart and together they have two wonderful daughters and two dogs.

Brianna loves spending time outdoors, especially in the water, and enjoys crafting with her children, taking them to parks, and hunting for treasures at thrift stores.

TAYLOR– Dental Assistant

Taylor was born and raised in Holland and is a proud graduate of the Hudsonville Dental Assistant Program. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her son, playing video games, and staying active through regular workouts.

MARIA– Dental Assistant

Maria is one of our incredible dental assistants, having completed her dental program at Ross. She finds the most fulfillment in her work by helping patients feel better, and she especially enjoys assisting our Spanish-speaking patients, making sure they feel comfortable.

Outside of the office, Maria loves spending time at the beach with her family and going on boat rides, creating lasting memories with those she holds dear.
